Summary.
The Russian Provisional Government was the short lived administrative body that wished to rule immediately after the abdication of the Tsar William II. On September 14th State Duma of the Russian Empire was dissolved by the newly created directorate which lasted only three weeks. The Provisional Government proved unworthy of leading the people, and ended after the bolsheviks took over only eight months after it had begun
