After a Shiite revolution takes place the Shah is replaced by Ayatollah Khomeneini. Khomeneini in his anti-American fashion he supported Iraq during the war. In fear of the revolution spreading into Iraq a war breaks out over religion, though land is still taken. It is resolved by the UN involvement signing a treaty with no gains.
